How SiteLens AI scores your site
Every score is computed from real signals in the page's public HTML — not opinions. Here is exactly what each one measures and how it is weighted, so you know what a number means before you act on it.
SEO score
Checks whether search engines can understand and confidently index your page: a descriptive title tag (10–65 characters), a meta description (50–165 characters), exactly one H1, a canonical URL, Open Graph tags, structured data, an HTML language attribute, alt text coverage on images, and sufficient word count.
Each present signal adds a fixed weight; missing or out-of-range signals contribute less. The result is a transparent 0–100 that reflects how complete your on-page SEO foundation is.
Design score
Reflects the structural signals of a credible, professional page: a mobile viewport tag, a favicon, a logical heading structure (at least one H2), restrained inline styling, the presence of imagery, social card tags, and enough body content to feel substantive.
It is not a judgement of taste — it measures whether the technical building blocks of a trustworthy, responsive page are in place.
Conversion score
Measures whether your page guides a visitor toward an action: recognizable call-to-action language, buttons, forms, enough internal links to navigate, and a secure HTTPS connection.
A high score means the structural cues that make action likely are present — it does not measure real-world conversion, which only your analytics can show.
Speed score
Built from the structural contributors to load time: total page weight in kilobytes, the number of script tags, server response time (time to first byte), image count, and HTTPS. These are the inputs you control.
It is a fast, repeatable proxy for performance — not a replacement for lab tools like Lighthouse or real-user Core Web Vitals data, which measure the actual experience.
What the scores do not do
SiteLens AI reads the public HTML of a URL at a single moment in time. It cannot see behind logins, measure real visitor behavior, or access server-side analytics. Treat the scores as a fast, honest starting point — then confirm the most important findings with your own tools before you invest in changes.
